While it’s definitely the most popular Cannabinoid, CBD certainly isn’t the only one that the abundant Hemp plant offers. Cannabigerol, or CBG, is found in the Hemp plant early in its life cycle, later turning into THC and CBD as the plant matures. For this reason, it’s known as the ‘mother of all Cannabinoids’.
CBG Oils are expensive to make as the hemp plant only produces very low levels of CBG, normally less than 1% of the plant’s total weight. This means much more raw materials and work are needed to create an oil with significant levels of CBG. In fact, it takes thousands of pounds of cannabis to create small amounts of pure CBG. This is largely due to most hemp varieties containing only tiny concentrations of CBG. The two main ways to obtain CBG for our consumption are by harvesting hemp when it is still young or by breeding strains of the plant that have naturally occurring high levels of CBG in them.
As conscious and sensible consumers, we are obliged to educate ourselves about what we eat, why we eat, and what it does to us.
Therefore at Hemp Point, our commitment to creating awareness, educating people, and making CBG more accessible reflects in our high-quality CBG products.
We recommend you spare some time to read, understand and make informed decisions while buying Hemp Point products.
