Hemp Point CBD Oil for Dogs 3%, 300mg is produced under strict conditions. The CBD is extracted from the flowers of female hemp plant of the Cannabis Sativa using a gentle CO2 extraction process. After the extraction, the pure hemp extract is mixed with salmon oil, which acts as a carrier oil. This creates a high-quality full-spectrum CBD oil. This not only contains the full plant spectrum of cannabinoids, but also a high proportion, and an optimal ratio, of essential fatty acids (10%), such as Alpha Linolenic Acid (Omega 3) and Gamma Linolenic Acid (Omega 6). These are valuable and vital substances for animals, especially for the ones that are fed raw meat. There is about 12% Oleic acid, which is rich in the fatty acid Omega 9.
Hemp CBD oil for dogs can help dogs with joint pain, with cancer or with anxiety, as well as can help control seizures. It’s also used for its anti-inflammatory properties, cardiac benefits, appetite stimulation, anti-nausea effects, and possible anti-cancer benefits.
At Hemp Point, we operate differently. We prioritise transparency in a way that few other brands do, and we are never more than an email away in the event you would like to discuss aspects of how to use your Hemp Point product.
You’re surely aware that there are no shortages of options when it comes to CBD oils in the UK. Numerous retail stores these days – including many big names on the High Street – are offering a variety of CBD products. Again, however, the quality of some of these products can not always be known or trusted. The industry is largely unregulated which is why there are so many CBD brands that falsely claim to contain CBD (Cannabidiol) when they actually none at all, claim a product contains far more CBD than it actually does, refuse to share lab results for their CBD oil products, make false claims about the miraculous things CBD cannot do. Hence why all of our CBD Oil products have a QR code with a lab verification report on the packaging. Depending on climate and seasonality, we source our hemp from different suppliers across Europe, to guarantee that we always get the highest quality product.
- Salmon oil as a carrier oil, primarily for its many health benefits because of its wonder-trio of fatty acids: Omega 3, 6 and 9 that support a healthy immune system, heart health, anti-inflammatory properties, healthy skin and coat and cognitive function.

CBD companies in the UK are not allowed to sell CBD products designed specifically for Pets, however, under the regulations of the VMD (Vetinary Medicines Directorate), vets are allowed to prescribe “human” CBD products to animals? These are normally off the shelf, non-prescription CBD oils to add to a pet’s food.
CBD products for use in animals require a marketing authorisation before they can be sold or supplied in the UK. There are currently no CBD based products that have been granted a UK veterinary marketing authorisation.
We are not and do not pretend to be Vets. Before you give any animal CBD, you must consult your Vet.
