While oil-based CBD is the most popular product on the market, it doesn’t make the most of the ingredients. When you take CBD under the tongue as an oil drop, you’re only getting a max of 13-19% bioavailability. This means around 80% doesn’t offer an effect.

So what’s the solution? Our water-soluble CBD in an “active” state, meaning it can be easily absorbed into the bloodstream. This results in almost perfect bioavailability, making it incredibly effective.

In the nano-emulsification process, CBD is dissolved in a suitable carrier oil which remains liquid at a wide temperature range, including room temperature. The mixture of CBD and oil is blended with emulsifiers. These work at the interface of the oil and water to stabilize the droplet (emulsifiers are also referred to as surfactants, i.e. Surface Active Agents). This oil phase is added to water and mixed to form a coarse emulsion (stabilized droplets of oil dispersed in water). The coarse emulsion is then nano-emulsified with a high pressure emulsifier to create very small droplets (~250nm) which are stable over long periods of time without agglomerating (recombining), creaming (floating to the top) or sedimenting (sinking to the bottom).

You’re surely aware that there are no shortages of options when it comes to CBD oils in the UK. Numerous retail stores these days – including many big names on the High Street – are offering a variety of CBD products. Again, however, the quality of some of these products can not always be known or trusted. The industry is largely unregulated which is why there are so many CBD brands that falsely claim to contain CBD (Cannabidiol) when they actually none at all, claim a product contains far more CBD than it actually does, refuse to share lab results for their CBD oil products, make false claims about the miraculous things CBD cannot do. Hence why all of our CBD Oil products have a QR code with a lab verification report on the packaging. Shake well before use. Fill the dropper with your dosage and add to your favourite hot or cold drink (we love ours in a morning coffee!), or consume on its own if you don’t mind the flavour (sweet with subtle fruity hints).

This differs with each person, taking into account weight, height, and reasons for taking CBD. Initially, we recommend taking 3-4 drops of our 5% Water Soluble CBD per use and building your dose up gradually. For optimal results, best taken at regular intervals throughout the day.

Regular CBD oil products and cannabinoids are fat soluble and are therefore mainly degraded by the stomach if it is not absorbed under the tongue. With the oil there is always an amount that is lost down the side of the mouth and into the gastric system which means it doesn’t reach the bloodstream when taken under the tongue. 1mg of our Water Soluble is the equivalent to 8mg of oil due to its bioavailability.

One drop contains approx. 2mg CBD – Do not exceed the FSA recommended maximum daily dose of 70mg CBD. Following this guidance, you can then manage daily dosage based on what works best for you, including combining with other CBD products.
